The core of WOODWARE is flexible and detailed inventory and processes calculation engine. To allow this, manufacturing processes in organization are modeled in software. Every production process in company implies a change in stock for materials included in process. Stock is an outcome of production processes. Modeling production processes is the core of stock calculation and management in WOODWARE. Effective use of WOODWARE in organization gives You complete overview  of production processes in organization, executing at the moment and executed in past and exact state of the stock anytime starting from utilization of the software.

DETAILED AND SPECIFIC PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Products in WOODWARE are described using predefined descriptions. Predefined product description includes various types of parameters, which can be renamed for specific needs.

FLEXIBLE SEARCH

Flexible search is a powerful mechanism that enables to get detailed overview of the stock at arbitrary time moment, starting from utilization of software. All product and stock parameters together with production process can optionally included in search. Result of the search can be seen either directly in user interface or in printable reports.

CALCULATIONS  IN DIFFERENT UNITS

Amounts can be calculated using four metric units. Formula for calculation can be freely described. For instance, one can specify units as Pcs, M, M2 and M3 and then describe calculation formulas for these units (using dimensions of product).

CALCULATIONS BASED ON BUSINESS PROCESSES

The core of the stock calculation in WOODWARE is modeling actual business activities and production processes in Your organization. These production processes are just called processes in software. Complete workflow can be described using processes, usually starting  purchasing some material and ends with selling final product. Between purchasing and selling all other processes can be described, resulting fully described material flow. User of the software has complete overview of this flow - executing processes, state of the stock etc.

DOCUMENT GENERATION

WOODWARE includes a bundle of predefined documents and You can create Your own for every stock operation. Documents include job order, material receipt, waybill and more. Documents are fully described using templates, allowing maximum flexibility in format, style and content of documents. Document templates may be created in any language.

POWERFUL REPORT GENERATION

The number of possible report versions exceeds hundred billions! This is because of document templates. Document template defines information content and report format. Users have ability to create custom reports using all product and stock parameters, production process, process time and more. All these can be freely included into report, together with corresponding amounts measured in predefined units. Additionally, differences in amounts, like wastes in production process may be calculated and added into reports. Financing adds expenses, prices, profit, expense per product. All the data can be freely combined and grouped in report template. Production reports have numeric and graphical view of the data.

ORDERS

Order management module allows to track customer orders and the processes of fulfilling it. Its features are order management, ordered products management and stock reservations that can be associated with ordered material. It also provides reporting and document generation support for orders. Orders can be tracked by customers, statuses, order registration time and order deadline.

OUTPUT PLANNING

Order management keeps a registry of orders with ordered material. This registry can be used for production planning.

BARCODES AND AUTOMATION

Various barcode systems can be integrated with WOODWARE.

Automation means automated datainput. Third party software, barcode systems and miscellaneous metering instruments can be used as data sources.

FLEXIBILITY

User accounts

There are two versions of WOODWARE concerning user accounts. Features of these versions are:

1. No user account. No installation.  Fits to smaller organizations, usually with just single user.
2. Client-server version with user accounts. Number of accounts is not limited. Can be used over internet.

Modularity

WOODWARE comes with modules. This allows to create software package according to needs. Functionality can be expanded afterwards.

Data input

WOODWARE allows various data input mechanisms, from manual to automated. WOODWARE can  be integrated with metering instruments for automated data read.
